What's the Why?

This grant opportunity*, up to $500, supports any child-related service efforts. For projects implemented during the current school year.


*Grants are awarded to current WSPA members

Spark Curiosity

Think outside the box! Past grants were used
to fund mentor programs, increase
collaborative opportunities between staff
and students, and violence prevention
programs.

Proposal Requirements

​Submit a proposal (350-500 words) including:

  • Detailed description of project

    • Step by step process, list required staff/time commitment

  • Need for project (data driven)

  • Anticipated outcome and benefit to children

  • Evidence base for anticipated effectiveness

  • Specific timeline (clearly outlined)

  • Detailed budget/funding rationale

Application Process

Grant proposals are accepted annually*,
August 1st through November 15th. In addition to the proposal, please include your full name, home address, phone number, as well as your current position, school district name, address, email, and phone number.

Selection Requirements

Award recipients must submit a brief
description* of project and outcomes
(pictures welcomed) to be published in the
WSPA newsletter.
